President Obama’s tax-credit plan to support community college-industry partnerships

President Barack Obama is expected to announce today a $2.5 billion tax-credit program that would foster closer relationships between community colleges and businesses.

The five-year plan would encourage employers from high-demand sectors to collaborate with schools to develop curriculum, create work-based learning experiences and hire graduates.
