Montana university commissioner vows to improve accounting
January 30, 2016 /
The commissioner’s office that runs the Montana University System and oversees $429 million a year plans to change some accounting practices after the Legislative Audit Division found three areas where it wasn’t following the law.
"We’re in full agreement" with the auditors’ report, Kevin McRae, deputy commissioner for communications and human resources, said Thursday. "We take the legislative audit function very seriously and very constructively."
