Oregon venture capital surged again in 2015

Venture capitalists put $226 million into Oregon entrepreneurship last year, according to data compiled by PricewaterhouseCoopers and the National Venture Capital Association. That’s up 20 percent from 2014 and the highest one-year tally since 2007.

Nationally, 2015 venture dollars totaled $58.8 billion, up slightly less than 16 percent.
