Business led Idaho 2020 wants data to drive decisions on building Idaho economy
January 10, 2016 /
"Wouldn’t it be nice for our Legislature to be making decisions based on data and real hard information on what has been successful around us?"
Named Idaho 2020, a new group of prominent Idaho business executives intend to fund and promote data-driven research they hope will shape public discourse on topics such as capital investment, taxes, and economic development. Their goal is to shed light on best business practices in other states that, for one reason or another, have not won favor here, and to do so in a non-partisan manner that stresses economics over politics.
