Missoula encouraged by Mountain Water case developments

Missoula leaders say they’re encouraged by a ruling heading off another trial over ownership of Mountain Water.

Missoula District Court Judge Karen Townsend ruled in favor of the city on the question of who is responsible for $22 million in developer agreements currently held by Mountain Water for future water connections. Townsend ruled those remain the responsibility of the utility, not the city.
