The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

Two items for your attention:

1. Registration is now open: You should have received information regarding the CDBG-ED Substantial Amendment and Public Hearing Process. The Community Development Block Grant – Economic Development (CDBG‐ED) Program has seen a reduction in the amount of economic development applications in the last several months and thus is proposing changes that will impact access to these programs.

A public hearing will be held at the Montana Department of Commerce on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 2:00 pm, Room 226 (second floor) of the Park Avenue Building, 301 S. Park Avenue, Helena, Montana 59601. Testimonials are welcome in person, by phone, or in writing.
