Air service membership club expanding to Billings

A Denver-based company is bringing its member-based flight service to Billings, aiming to boost air travel to the underserved Rocky Mountain region.

Ascent Private Air Club http://www.ascentairclub.com/ will begin operating Monday in the Billings area, selling memberships to a network of carriers that operate primarily in Western states. Available charter planes include turboprops and jets that can travel coast-to-coast, company officials said.
