Fewer small businesses offer health insurance as cost keeps rising

Fewer small businesses offered health insurance to their employees this year, and more are considering dropping it next year due to rising costs.
That’s according to a survey of 810 small businesses conducted recently by the National Small Business Association. It found that 65 percent offered health insurance this year, down from 70 percent the year before.
