Wanted: STEM mentors for Montana girls, rural kids
October 27, 2015/
The Montana STEM Equity Initiative http://www.montana.edu/stemequity/ , a new effort to get Montana students — especially girls — interested in science, engineering and computer coding, launched Monday in Bozeman.
It was kicked off with speeches and a mentoring party at the American Computer and Robotics Museum, where sixth-graders from Bozeman’s private Headwaters Academy got lessons in computer coding.
