Bozeman one step closer to being better connected to the world

The city of Bozeman is one step closer to being better connected to the world. The new fiber project will improve costs, redundancy and internet speeds in city limits.

"This for Bozeman and I think for most of Montana is pretty groundbreaking," said Anthony Cochenour, president of Bozeman Fiber Inc.

On Monday Bozeman Fiber, a privately funded organization secured $3.85 million for a new broadband network. The new network will better equip businesses with solid connectivity.
