Bozeman’s DropTrip – The social (shipping) network

About five years back, Doug Warner was living out of a suitcase in Australia, working for Bozeman-based RightNow Technologies. Warner hoped to continue his outdoorsy lifestyle while away, but when a group of locals invited him on a rock climbing trip, he found himself in a quandary. There hadn’t been room in his luggage for his climbing rack, and equipment in Australia was extremely expensive. That’s when it occurred to him that, with coworkers traveling regularly from Bozeman, he could have someone ferry gear to him.
