Missouri Career Opportunity – Vice President of Entrepreneurship – Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation

Foundation is a $2 billion foundation that works with partners to advance
entrepreneurship in America and improve the educational achievement of
youth.

The Vice President of Entrepreneurship will play a significant role in the
continued refinement of the Foundation’s
http://www.kauffman.org/who-we-are/our-strategic-direction strategic
direction, and the position represents an opportunity to serve at the
forefront of issues that ultimately impact economic health and prosperity.

As part of the senior leadership team, this Vice President will report
directly to the CEO and will direct/design all entrepreneurship programs
within the Foundation and serve as a national thought leader in the field.

We are seeking candidates who possess:

* Experience serving in a leadership role in an organization or
program that provides direct assistance to entrepreneurs, startups or
growing firms.

* An understanding of the entrepreneurial landscape and demonstrated
recognition as a thought leader in the field.

* Experience building, supervising and developing a high-caliber team.

Preferred experience would include working as a founder/leader in a startup
enterprise and demonstrated knowledge of capital investment activities.
