Simms Fishing Products breaks ground on expansion in Bozeman, Montana

Bear Paw Development Corporation is a private non-profit organization created for the purpose of administering programs to help improve regional economic conditions in Hill, Blaine, Liberty, Chouteau and Phillips Counties and the Fort Belknap and Rocky Boy's Indian Reservations.

Having only been open in Bozeman since 2012, Simms Fishing Products https://www.simmsfishing.com/ broke ground for their expansion Friday. What sets them apart, in the fishing gear world however, is that they are the only fishing wader manufacturer in the U.S.

They currently employ almost 150 workers and they expect to hire at least 15 more new employees with this expansion.

"I’m not only excited for today, but I’m excited to see everything more that this incredible company can become, for indeed, not just our community, but our entire state," said Gov. Steve Bullock before the company broke ground.
