Nearly 2,000 Butte residents among those revealed in Ashley Madison hack

The hack of the Ashley Madison website, which helps married customers arrange affairs, revealed thousands of clients in Butte and Montana.

The Billings Gazette downloaded the hacked information. An analysis of user and credit card information leaked by hackers and posted online found approximately 1,956 accounts in Butte and a total of 49,900 in Montana.
