Montana School Funding Committee Seeks Your Input – Please take this survey for Montana’s future leaders

A committee that will examine Montana’s public school funding system has set up an Internet survey so people can share their concerns and ideas with the group.

"This will allow people to give the commission some direction about where to put our effort," Sen. Tom Facey, D-Missoula, said.

The commission is comprised of a dozen legislators and four public members. It fulfills a legislative requirement that a group meets every 10 years to assess the state’s educational needs and costs.

The survey is five questions long and is open through Sept. 9. It can be accessed at http://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MT_SFIC_2015 or by visiting the School Funding Interim Commission page on the Montana Legislature website http://leg.mt.gov/css/Committees/Interim/2015-2016/School-Funding/default.asp .
