Bozeman schools to ask voters for $21 million

"The community supports us, we try to be extremely transparent, showing proof (of the need) and all these kids coming in," Tage said. "It would be heart-breaking if these didn’t pass."

Bozeman school voters will decide Nov. 3 whether to spend $16 million to expand Sacajawea Middle School and $5.5 million to upgrade Hawthorne Elementary School.

The Bozeman School Board voted 7-0 Monday night to put two bond issues before voters. Ballots will be mailed out Oct. 19 to coincide with the Bozeman City Commission election.
