McCall, Idaho voters to decide on raising minimum wage

An initiative has been placed on the Nov. 3 ballot by the McCall City Council.

A group called FairWageMcCall gathered 416 qualified signatures, far more than the needed 196 to move the wage petition to the ballot.

Under state law, the council had the option of passing the initiative on its own without an election. Council members said voters should decide the question.
