Skyly finds new supporters for progressive political organizations.

Skyly http://www.skyly.co, a cloud-based service that finds new supporters for progressive political campaigns, stepped into the spotlight recently at Netroots Nation (http://www.netrootsnation.org/about/), the annual mega-conference of left-leaning political organizers, consultants, bloggers, and activists. In between rousing speeches by Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Skyly founder and CEO John Masterson demonstrated the Skyly dashboard to hundreds of attendees.

Skyly is primarily a contributor prospecting tool; it identifies voters who are likely to and capable of supporting progressive campaigns and organizations.

Masterson explains:

"I met the Democratic fundraiser for a large state last year. She told me she had a great list of generous, wealthy people who are committed to the cause. The problem was, they were all in their eighties. She recognized the need to activate younger supporters. And that’s where Skyly comes in."

Skyly blends social media, voter data, contributor data, and wealth data to create actionable dossiers that a campaign can use to segment prospects into high-dollar relationship cultivation, grassroots funders, motivated volunteers, and so on, as the campaign strategy suggests.

"Unveiling Skyly at Netroots gave us a chance to chance to talk to strategists, consultants, and organizers from more than dozen states in just three days. Interest – and excitement – was strong."

Skyly is currently in a beta testing phase prior to commercial release at the end of 2015.
