Blackstone LaunchPad Announces Veterans’ Scholarships to Attend Small Business Innovation and Funding Summit, Aug. 17-18 in Bozeman

Blackstone LaunchPad is providing a limited number of scholarships to veterans who are alumni or current students of the Montana University System to attend the Greater Yellowstone Regional Entrepreneurship & SBIR/STTR Summit, Aug. 17-18 (http://GYRES.mt.gov).

Eligible veterans can obtain free registration to learn about business financing options, exporting and government procurement assistance, and can meet with federal Program Managers from a dozen federal agencies in charge of Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs, which provide $2.5 billion annually to small U.S. businesses.

Over 100 Montana firms, including many new startups, have won over $175 million from these programs, and some of the best SBIR assistance in the country is available free of charge through MTIP (http://www.mtip.mt.gov) and TechLink (http://techlinkcenter.org/).
