Montana sees overall improvement in child well-being

Montana children are slightly better off this year than last, but still face significant educational and family challenges when compared to children in other states, according to an analysis released late Monday.

The state moved up a notch in the 2015 Kids Count Data Book compiled by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, which ranked Montana at 30th nationwide for child well-being.
