Bear Paw Development Corporation is a private non-profit organization created for the purpose of administering programs to help improve regional economic conditions in Hill, Blaine, Liberty, Chouteau and Phillips Counties and the Fort Belknap and Rocky Boy's Indian Reservations.

Welcome to Missoula Smart Schools 2020, a system wide initiative to create school facilities that provide students with the security, technology and dynamic learning environment they need to achieve in school and in life. As your principal, I’m pleased to say that Willard Alternative High School is part of that initiative and is planning significant and much-needed changes over the next few years.

Willard Alternative High School, constructed nearly 100 years ago, was designed for elementary students in stand-alone classrooms and does not allow for dynamic, collaborative learning environments. Aging infrastructure likewise does not support ever-evolving technology needs nor allows for redesigning or internal remodeling.
