Montana energy chew company Voke Tab aims to expand beyond the Big Sky

A growing number of young business owners are able to stay here in Montana while running their companies.

Growing up with the Bitterroot Valley as a backdrop and Roaring Lion Creek in his backyard, Kalen Caughey pursued the outdoors early in life. This passion lead to a competitive skiing career in his teens and ultimately sparked a business idea.

"I originally had the idea for Voke tabs http://voketab.com/ a few years back," said Caughey. "I was a competitive freestyle skier and also a big coffee drinker and just looking for something I could take with me that could fit into my ski jacket that was healthy and portable and could give me a boost of energy before competitive runs."
