Unparalleled support: Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts receives its most generous grant ever

This past Christmas, the Archie Bray Foundation http://archiebray.org/ got the most generous gift in its history, a $750,000 challenge grant from Windgate Charitable Foundation, after the Bray had raised $750,000 as a match.

The Bray plans to use the money to invest in its future, said resident artist director Steven Young Lee. "We want to look at how we can develop our programs and improve them."

The funding is particularly welcome in a time of shrinking foundation support for arts organizations, which has been acutely felt in Montana in recent months.
