City of Missoula gets $400,000 grant for redevelopment

The city of Missoula has been awarded a $400,000 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency grant for redevelopment.
The money from the Brownsfields grant has not been allocated for any particular project, but will go to converting an industrial property to more general use.
Brownfields properties are sites that can be redeveloped but have potential environmental issues. They include former industrial sites, gasoline stations, abandoned buildings and vacant properties.
