State of Montana New eProcurement System – Coming Soon

The State of Montana is implementing a new eProcurement system titled "Montana Acquisition and Contracting System" or "eMACS." This new system will provide the State with efficient procurement and contract management tools that include vendor management services. These system capabilities will greatly modernize the State’s bid and purchasing processes. eMACs implementation is scheduled for Summer 2015.

Upon implementation, vendors will be required to re-register their company information using the new vendor management service, submit bid responses online as well as submit contracting documents (including payment info) via the new system upon request. Vendors currently registered on the State’s vendor list will receive email notifications as the eMACS project progresses. Montana Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC), in conjunction with the Department of Administration, State Procurement Bureau, will be providing an informational meeting for vendors to introduce eMACS and answer questions.
