Kickstarter Campaign – Poultry farmers in Ravalli Co. raise money for processing facility

Poultry farmers in Ravalli County are fundraising http://www.livingriverfarms.com/ to build a state-licensed, state-inspected poultry processing facility. There are currently no publicly accessible poultry processing plants in Montana.

Laura Garber, from Homestead Organics Farm in Hamilton http://www.homegrownmontana.org/homestead.html , and Beau McLean, from Living River Farms http://www.livingriverfarms.com/in Stevensville, are trying to raise $30,000 to $60,000 to build the facility. The team has started a Kickstarter campaign to raise the funds.
