How to get more electric cars on the roads (+video)

Electric car use has grown tremendously in recent years, but obstacles including cost, range, charging times, concerns about battery life, and lack of model choices remain.

In a report released Wednesday, the National Research Council (NRC)–part of the National Academy of Science–said the Federal government should take further steps to promote adoption of electric cars.
