Missoula kicks off month-long recycling education effort

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure, and the members of Zero Waste Missoula aim to eliminate wastefulness as much as possible.

Wednesday marked the first day of Moving Missoula Toward Zero Waste Month, a push for sustainability being made by Mayor John Engen.

A dozen businesses around Missoula have joined the cause so far, in hopes of educating people about proper waste management.
