Mark Zuckerberg unveils Messenger platform at Facebook’s F8 conference

Facebook allows millions of people to share texts, photos, videos and stickers through its messaging app, and most recently to send money.

Calling it one of the most important members in the company’s family of apps, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg unveiled a platform Wednesday that will allow developers to integrate apps into Messenger and an upcoming tool aimed at making online shopping easier.
