MSU faculty, grad students to speak at TEDxBozeman on March 27

Several people affiliated with Montana State University will speak Friday, March 27, at TEDxBozeman. Although tickets are sold out, the 1 to 6 p.m. event will be live-streamed.

Among the 17 presenters will be Lisa Kirk, assistant research professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering and Mining Outreach Coordinator at the Center for Biofilm Engineering; Angela Des Jardins, director of the Montana Space Grant Consortium; Dan Moshavi, former dean of the College of Business; John Scannella, a graduate student in the Department of Earth Sciences; and Deann Snyder, a graduate student in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology.

This year’s theme on "Branching Out" features speakers who are pushing the boundaries in their disciplines and distinguishing themselves as leaders, creators and preeminent thinkers.
