Women business owners find success in Bozeman
March 6, 2015 /
"It’s incredible to see how many women are successful and doing great things here," said Ellie Staley, program director for the Downtown Bozeman Partnership, who introduced the event.
She estimated that more than half the downtown businesses in Bozeman are owned by women, and the 2014 State of Women-owned Businesses report found that the number of women-owned firms across Montana had increased 37.5 percent between 1997 and 2014.
Women are now majority owners in nearly one-third of the firms in the U.S., the report found.
