Bill to fund 19-year-old students moves on to House
February 28, 2015 /
A bill to provide funding for 19-year-old students in Montana passed the Montana Senate on Thursday and will be debated in the House during the second half of the session.
Montana is the only state in the nation that cuts off funding for students at 18-years-old. Senate Bill 12, sponsored by Sen. Mary Sheehy-Moe, D-Great Falls, would extend that funding for a year.
