Montana Office of Public Instruction lobbies for bill to bolster Native American education

The Montana Office of Public Instruction is pushing for a bill that would increase educational opportunities in Montana’s most struggling schools.

Superintendent Denise Juneau is requesting $1.3 million dollars to provide failing Indian Reservation schools a chance at improving their student achievement rates.

The "Schools Of Promise" initiative is a grant-based program.
