Mountain Water website addresses condemnation battle in Missoula

There’s a new twist in the fight over Missoula’s water utility. Mountain Water has a website http://www.mountainwaterfacts.com/ that company officials say they’ll use to tell their side of the story.

Officials say it contains key information they believe city officials would prefer to keep from Missoula residents concerning water rates, public input and infrastructure.

"The city claims we’re not putting money into infrastructure — we provide information on the kinds of investments we are making into upgrading the infrastructure. There are a lot of different claims out there that we are trying to address," said Mountain Water President John Kappes.
