Montana Tourism Award Nominations Are Now Open! – Join Us in Helena March 22-24.

The Montana Office of Tourism is now accepting nominations for the 2015 Montana Tourism Awards. Winners will be announced, Academy Awards style, during the Monday-night banquet at the Governor’s Conference on Tourism and Recreation at the Colonial Hotel – Red Lion in Helena, March 22-24.

Here are this year’s categories:

Outstanding Tourism Campaign – This award is given to a community, business or organization that successfully conducted an ad campaign (digital, social, print or other form) or tourism awareness program.

Gateway Community – This award acknowledges an activity/event/project undertaken by a community/region to promote tourism in Montana.

Event of the Year – This award is presented to an outstanding event that has benefited the community and/or state in an exemplary and creative manner.

Tourism Ambassador – This award is presented to an individual or business in recognition of major and lasting contributions to the promotion of Montana tourism or dedication to and development of the Montana tourism industry.

Additionally, MTOT staff will be nominating for Grant Project of the Year and Film-Friendly Community.

Nominations close March 2, after which MTOT will narrow them down to 4-6 per category. Voting will open on or around March 9.
