High Housing Prices Balanced by Low Utility and Transportation Costs: Bozeman’s Overall Cost of Living Within One Percent of the National Average for 2014

Bozeman’s composite cost of living index score was 0.8 percent above the national average for 2014 according to the latest Cost of Living Index Report. The annual score represents an unweighted average of data submitted for the first three quarters of 2014 by 281 participating urban areas. The composite index is based on six component categories – housing, utilities, grocery items, transportation, health care and miscellaneous goods & services
