The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

If companies are waiting for the government to pass legislation on cybersecurity information sharing, they may be waiting for a very long time, said Howard Schmidt, former cybersecurity coordinator and special assistant to President Barack Obama. Politics will likely hamper the ability for Congress and the White House to reach an agreement, he said.
