University of Montana researchers develop science for NASA

Early Thursday morning University of Montana researches huddled in a conference room on campus to watch NASA launch a satellite, but unsafe windy conditions prevented the take off. John Kimball is a researcher involved in the mission. SMAP stands for soil moisture active passive.
