Twenty-six MBA students from MIT posed in the lobby of the app analytics firm App Annie to have their photo taken with a cardboard cutout of the company mascot — a red-headed cartoon woman in cat-eyed frames, presumably the eponymous Annie.
The students were on a westward pilgrimage, an annual three-day "Tech Trek" made by first-year MBA candidates from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management to scope out the Bay Area hiring scene.
The trek is an opportunity for tech companies to woo the next generation of brilliant business minds.
