Made in Montana show this week in Great Falls

The sixth annual Made in Montana Food and Gift Show takes center stage at the Great Falls Civic Center later this week.

About 115 exhibitors with products ranging from clothing and candy to jewelry and home furnishings arrive Thursday to set up their booths and attend three marketing classes.

The classes are:

# Introduction to Exporting. 1 p.m.-3 p.m.

# Solving the Mysteries of Creating the Right Price. 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.

# You have a Great Product — Now What? 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

The classes are open to the public. Cost is $50. Participants can register at the door.

From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, more than 450 registered wholesale buyers from across the country will check out the 500-plus products on display.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, the trade show is open to the public for retail sales. Admission is $2.

Grammy-nominated pianist and composer Philip Aaberg will sign autographs and visit with fans at the Sweetgrass Music booth on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Montana Department of Commerce and the Montana Department of Agriculture produce the show.
