Lawyers Take Pay Cuts to Come to UM

One UM law professor sacrificed over 50% of her pay checks in order to start a calmer career.
Jordan Gross was a partner at a law firm in Seattle, specializing in complex white collar criminal defence and complex disputes.
She didn’t mind changing professions. In fact, she was happy to hop on board at UM as a professor.
"I feel really fortunate to have this job," she said "I didn’t get into law for the money."
