UM Marketing Students Final Presentations Tonight at the Crystal

Tonight- Wednesday my class is doing something crazy. They’re taking their final presentations and are bringing them outside of the classroom – to the Crystal theatre to be exact.

And rather than present a marketing plan for a local business, my students have researched and will present on a topic of their choice. All talks will be in the Ignite format (5 minutes fixed, 15 slides, 20 seconds each).

You will learn how to self-diagnose a Netflix addiction.

You will get an inside view of what it’s like to live with anxiety.

You will learn how to win as a woman in business.

You will learn about the history of microbreweries in Montana.

And you will learn why re-loading ammo is actually a pretty cool hobby

It’s going to be a night to remember.

Tickets are free, even though we do recommend a $5 suggested donation. All proceeds go benefit St Jude’s Children’s hospital. The event kicks off at 6:30pm this Wednesday at The Crystal.

Please book your tickets here.

One more thing, I had very little to do with the planning of this event.

While I am gladly sponsoring the venue, this event is entirely planned and organized by my students. I can’t promise all talks will be amazing, but I can promise you each student is going to give it their all.

This means something to them. You coming, you cheering, you not booing will make a huge impact on their lives.

Can you make it?

It will be so much fun.

Thank you.
