Billings Resident Wins TV in Northwestern Energy-Saving Campaign

Billings-area resident and NorthWestern Energy customer Reida Whiteshield has won an energy-efficient big-screen television and related prizes as part of NorthWestern Energy’s recently completed Phantom Energy campaign. The campaign, built around useful energy savings messages and tips, was conducted on Facebook.

Whiteshield will be presented with the television at the NorthWestern’s Billings Service Center, 1944 Monad Road, at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24. Media representatives are invited to attend the brief ceremony.

The prize contest part of the Phantom Energy campaign drew 810 entries and in just a month, nearly tripled the number of customers following NorthWestern Energy on Facebook in just a month.

The program was aimed at helping NorthWestern customers improve their energy awareness and providing information designed to help them reduce energy consumption. NorthWestern Energy provides a number of energy saving and efficiency programs for residential and business customers in Montana.
