Montana’s infrastructure gets poor grades
November 19, 2014 /
A civil engineering group has released a report card for Montana’s infrastructure and the grades are not good.
The Montana chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers gave the state a C-, but that’s a little better than last year’s national grade of D+.
Among the lowlights spotlighted n the report was Montana’s 2,000 schools rating a D-, with 66% of schools having some problems. Water and transportation systems got grades in the C range.
The engineers are calling for a greater commitment to infrastructure investments.
