Tech savvy: Highlands students tackle research strategies

Two-year college students attending trade school don’t usually learn statistics on how technology affects their grades.
They may use technology when designing a kitchen cabinet or studying for the next accounting test.
Anecdotally, students may learn how sleep deprivation affects their grade point averages.
But starting this semester, Highlands College students like freshmen Isaac Cruz and Teal Taylor are required to learn academic research strategies.
