MSU President Waded Cruzado denies rumors that she’s a finalist for jobs at other universities

Cruzado laughed as she told more than 30 MSU University Council members at a public meeting that she just returned from the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities’ annual meeting in Florida. Cruzado said MSU Provost Martha Potvin had told her the "campus is agog" with rumors that she is a presidential finalist at the University of Miami. Miami President Donna Shalala, who is stepping down next year, received an honorary doctorate from MSU last spring.
