Technology, teamwork assist blind Fuddruckers employee

Through advances in technology and a team of incredible mentors, one Missoula man isn’t letting his lack of eyesight keep him down.

Customers ordering food at Missoula’s Fuddruckers are often surprised to learn the 28-year-old man behind the cash register is blind. For nearly ten years, Robert Wilkins has been without sight, but he refuses to let that slow him down.

With the help of Opportunity Resources Incorporated and Fuddruckers owner Russ Klare, Wilkins uses a modified touch screen to take orders.
