Montana applies for $40 million pre-K grant

Montana has applied for a $40 million federal grant to increase preschool opportunities in high-needs communities.

The grant, if awarded, would complement the $37 million in preschool funding Gov. Steve Bullock will request from the state Legislature, the Governor’s office said Wednesday.
