Classroom Without Walls thrives in Corvallis, Montana

English and science teachers from Corvallis High School http://corvallis.k12.mt.us/ where looking for ways to get their students outdoors almost 20 years ago.

Mike Gurnett has the story of how once the faculty came up with a way to get the students outside, next they just got out-of-the-way.

The Corvallis High School offers an innovative, science-based coarse know as the Classroom Without Walls. The students select their own projects based on issues that are relevant to their community and to their personal lives.
