Montana jobs most in demand include RNs, truck drivers
September 19, 2014 /
Mike Irvin, a co-owner of Dick Irvin trucking in Shelby, was not surprised to learn of a state projection that truck drivers are expected to continue to be in high demand for some time.
"Everybody’s always looking for more drivers as well as shop and maintenance people," he said, adding that he feels fortunate to be short just a couple of drivers and a couple of mechanics currently. The company employs about 30 truck drivers and has contracts with about 65 owner-operators who own their own trucks and haul Irvin trailers.
